Exhibition aims:

  • For creatives to come together and document a shared experience through their artistic output
  • To bookend a tough year
  • To give people the chance to tell their story of 2020
  • To give artists and others who have been hit financially by Covid the opportunity to sell work

The show:

  • Open for two weeks from Dec 10th to 23rd
  • First week run as a conventional show for viewing/reserving sales
  • Second week work can be purchased and taken straight from the wall, more like an art fair
  • Work displayed in ‘salon hang’ with work close together to enable maximum participation
  • Social distancing measures and Covid rules will be strictly followed
  • Dates subject to change if lockdown measures are extended

Entrance T&Cs:

  • Closing date for entering is midnight on Nov 30
  • £15 entrance fee for works up to 50x50cm including frame
  • £25 for works up to 70x70cm including frame
  • £10 for online only works (any size)
  • Excess may be charged or work refused if it exceeds sizes
  • Max 5 pieces per person (subject to change pending demand)
  • Max sizes of work subject to change pending number of entrants
  • Closing date subject to change due to limited space

Sales T&Cs:

  • Artist chooses whether their work is for sale or not, and sets the price
  • 10% commission charged on all sales of work
  • Work must be sold as seen – price must include frame (+ unframed prices for prints in a run)
  • All prints in a run must be signed
  • Gallery manager processes sales: receives funds from buyer, gives receipts, pays artist
  • Online-only exhibitors’ sales are made direct between buyer and artist, including delivery/collection arrangements

Tips for sellers:

  • For most saleability sell under £100
  • Size around A4/A3 sell best
  • Prints sell well
